How Does Account Protection Work?
When Account Protection is added during checkout:
- The trader receives protection coverage for eligible drawdown breaches
- If the account is breached, the trader may have the option to reclaim the evaluation account instead of purchasing a completely new challenge
How Much Does Account Protection Cost?
Protection Cost
- +30% evaluation fee
This protection fee is added during the initial evaluation purchase.
What Happens If The Account Is Breached?
If an eligible drawdown breach occurs, traders may reclaim the account for:
- 40% of the original evaluation fee
- Calculated before discounts
This acts as a reduced-cost buy-back option for the evaluation.
How Long Does Account Protection Last?
Depending on the evaluation or selected configuration, protection does apply:
- For the full evaluation phase
How Long Do I Have To Claim The Protected Account?
If an eligible breach occurs:
- The reclaim request must be submitted within 7 days of the breach date
Requests outside of this period may no longer qualify for protection recovery.
What Does Account Protection Cover?
Account Protection is intended for eligible drawdown-related breaches, such as:
- Daily drawdown breaches
- Overall drawdown breaches
What Does Account Protection Not Cover?
Account Protection does not cover breaches relating to:
- Prohibited trading strategies
- Tick scalping
- Arbitrage
- Fraudulent activity
- Account sharing
- KYC violations
- Gambling-style trading
- Policy abuse
- Consistency violations
Does Account Protection Remove Trading Rules?
No.
All traders must still follow:
- evaluation rules,
- risk limits,
- consistency policies,
- and prohibited trading behaviour guidelines.
Account Protection is designed as a safety feature, not a removal of account rules.
